If you want your end-users to see the training needs assigned to them, but not allow them to make contributions (i.e., request training for themselves), follow these steps:
🔧 1. Date Criteria Configuration
📅 Leave the start and end dates empty for the End-User role.
-
This prevents the end-user from accessing the task during the planning phase.
🧩 2. Segment Configuration
⚙️ In the segment setup:
-
➖ Leave the dates empty for the End-User role.
-
🚫 Do not assign an approver to the end-user.
Since the end-user won’t submit any requests, there’s no need for an approver.
👀 3. End-User Access During Execution
🗓️ Once the plan enters the execution period:
-
👤 End-users will then have access to the task.
-
📌 They can view their assigned trainings in the “Training Needs” tab.
-
✍️ They cannot request any training needs.
💡 This setup ensures end-users have read-only access during execution and no contribution rights during the planning phase.
