Copy Down Support for Training Plans
1. Does Training Plans support automated CSoD copy down?
No. Training Plans does not support automated Cornerstone (CSoD) copy down. All actions must be coordinated manually.
2. What should I do if I need a copy down in a pilot environment?
If a copy down is required in a pilot environment, follow these steps:
-
Verify that Portal Provisioning is complete and correct, as described in the Partner & Admin Manual chapter 2 (available in the Reference Documentation section of this portal).
-
Notify ISQe at least 15 days in advance so we can rebuild the environment after the copy down.
3. What are the impacts of a copy down?
-
The database will be created from scratch or copied from production (if available).
-
All Training Plans tasks and configurations will be overwritten.
-
Data Exporter (DE) will be disabled. A support ticket must be opened to ensure that DE is enabled.
-
Upon copy down, email configuration requires revision. The email service becomes unavailable until the client decided to activate it.
-
The process may take up to 15 days to complete.
-
Response times may vary depending on Cornerstone’s execution of each step.
4. Are there any additional costs?
-
During the implementation phase, copy downs are included with no additional cost.
-
After go-live, ISQe will support up to two (2) copy downs per license year.
-
Additional copy downs or manual synchronizations may incur costs. Please contact us for further details.
5. What are the required steps to execute a copy down?
Follow these steps:
-
Suspend data synchronization from CSoD.
-
Execute the requested copy down in Training Plans.
-
Request CSoD to activate Data Exporter in Full Mode in the target environment.
- Wait for the data availability and validate that Data Exporter in Full is configured correctly.
-
